It is that time of year again! May 7th 2016 sees the 15th anniversary of Free Comic Book Day! With many stores participating around the globe, this is your chance to pick up some cool new titles, free of charge!
Here at TFNation, Free Comic Book Day 2016 is central to our TFN:May-hem plans. Across the country, Forbidden Planet stores will be displaying our huge banners and using our gorgeous exclusive carrier bags. We are encouraging fans to take a photograph outside of these stores and upload them to twitter using the tags #TFNSelfie and #TFNation. So what are you waiting for? Join the Nation!

If you’ve ever been to a Transformers community meet up in the south, you’ll no doubt be salivating over the words “Orbital Comics”. A stalwart of many social meets, Orbital comics is just around the corner from a Forbidden Planet store, so you’d be crazy to go to one and not the other. It has formed the backbone of the London comics scene for years and has hosted exclusive signings for familiar Transformers creators such as James Roberts and nick Roche. Be sure to check them out!

Let us be clear – we love all Travelling Man stores. It is a wonderful chain which we respect a lot. But there is something incredibly special about the Manchester store. Staffed by super-friendly Transformers fans who are always happy to support our convention, this is the place to be for Manchester comic fans. Don’t miss out this weekend!
