Operation: Third Party Appearance – Maketoys & Fans Project

TFNation is extremely pleased to announce that, in partnership with Kapow Toys, TFNation 2016 will see the first in-person appearance by a Third Party toy company! Maketoys shall be making their European convention debut at TFNation 2016 to not only provide a product display of existing and up-coming releases, but to also give you an opportunity to purchase many of the figures and speak directly to the company.

Founded in 2011, Maketoys are the Third Party company behind such incredible figures as Giant (Devastator), Hellfire (Inferno) and the more recent Citybots line. Maketoys have crossed into a variety of sublines which includes Microbots, Mobine Series, Manga Mech Series (based on the IDW comics) and the Battle Tanker Series – based on the Generation Two Laser Rod Optimus Prime. Within the world of combiners their MTCombiner series has produced Giant (Devastator in both green and yellow variants), Quantron (Computron) and Guardia (Defensor), while the RE:Master Series focuses on Masterpiece-style figures. Arguably their Citybots line has blown fans away with the impressive Utopia (Metroplex), Dystopia (Metrotitan) and Pandinus (Scorponok), making Maketoys the talk of the Third Party world.

As amazing as it is to announce the first ever European appearance of a Third Party company, TFNation isn’t stopping there. Joining Maketoys at TFNation 2016 will be FansProject, the company behind the fantastic Lost Exo Realm figures, based on the Japanese exclusive Pretender combiner Dinoforce figures - complete with limited edition shells!

Originating in 2007 with the Cliffjumper add-on set, FansProject became best known for their stylised Warbot line. Then they then shook the Transformers community when they released the Retro-Future series featuring the might Glacialord. These figures were designed to look like a Generation One combiner with superb ‘80s aesthetics, complete with fake box damage, and is (to date) something that no other company has tried. From triple changers, through gestalt combiners, Headmasters and Pretenders, FansProject were one of the first companies to produce Third Party Transformers figures and they have continued to stay relevant and in demand.

FansProject shall be offering product for sale along with showcasing existing and future products and we are extremely pleased to welcome them to TFNation 2016.

TFNation would like to thank the folk at Kapow Toys who have helped make this possible.
